The Shagaru Magala! Otherwise known as Gore Magala’s Mega Evolution, is the final barrier between Low Rank and High Rank in the Caravan/Village quests. Unfortunately for you, he’s basically the destroyer of worlds and is no pushover.
He is weakest to Fire and Dragon. I’m much better against him with a quick weapon, but I imagine using an insect glaive and jump spamming him would make short work of him. Otherwise I recommend sitting under him and attacking his back legs, tail, and abdomen until he drops.
