Overall, Bat Boy is inspired by classic action platforming games, but my experience was severely hampered by game breaking bugs. The worst of which was having to restart long, arduous stages because the game crashes or my character gets stuck. There’s also more minor issues such as achievements not popping when they’re supposed to, and other similar quirks.
I fully expect it to get better, but it just needs a little more polish before I can recommend it.
