Today we’re going to take a look at the fascinatingly empty world of texture modding in Monster Hunter, specifically Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii. I used a backup copy of MH Tri to modify in this example, and tested the results out on the Dolphin emulator. Turns out that there are practically zero resources online for modding the textures in this game, but that doesn’t mean we can’t fiddle around and get some results with it. 😀
